He writes, “It is good to hear news from the old stand and to feel the touch of the old Academy spirit, as it prevails in your midst.” Pendleton has just received word from Mrs. Tilson that Mr. Tilson’s operation was successful; Pendleton hopes Tilson will be able to serve the Church for many years to come.
