Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Glendower C. Ottley in London, England. Pendleton received Ottley’s and Tilson’s applications to the General Church priesthood just as the Assembly activities were opening. Everyone was pleased with this development; Pendleton comments, “All believers in the Divine Authority should form a common brotherhood throughout the world; no personal difficulties should be allowed to stand in the way.” Pendleton will write more to Ottley at a later time when he is less busy. Pendleton reports that the recent Assembly was the greatest in the Church’s history, and that the dedication of the Cathedral was a very powerful experience. Names mentioned: Mr. (Robert J.) Tilson
