Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Hugo Odhner in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Pendleton apologizes for failing to answer Odhner’s letter of April 9th until now. Pendleton answers Odhner’s questions regarding the dedication of the new church building in South Africa; It is customary for the Bishop to perform the dedication ceremony, however, in the Bishop’s absence, a Pastor may act in the Bishop’s name. In the US, Pendleton was able to recover from a fever in time to oversee the recent Assembly in Glenview. Pendleton reports that the Assembly was full of enthusiasm and packed with events.
