During his visit, he hopes to discuss aspects of Swedenborg’s scientific philosophy which have been on his mind. He writes, “In fact I am again up to my neck, if not deeper, in Swedenborg’s science. The occasion for this recent plunge is a certain startling proposition, concerning the nature of the Sun as described in the Principia, made to me just a few hours before my departure from Bryn Athyn in September. If I should begin to tell you all about it I should never get through. But there is a good time coming, soon I hope, when I can relieve my mind at your expense.
