Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Richard Morse in Sydney, Australia. Pendleton has received Morse’s letter of April 13th with accompanying magazine. The baptism record cards for the Blackshaw children have been noted and filed. Pendleton is pleased to hear of the activities in Morse’s society. Pendleton believes current New Church members need to “hold down the fort” spiritually until the Church has grown. He writes, “The Lord provides that men are fitted for the work of their own day and generation. Our need at this time is not for number, but that a sure foundation should be laid for the future upbuilding of a genuine Spiritual Church.” Names mentioned: Blackshaw, Miss (Annie) Taylor, Miss (Mora (aka Martha Mornington)) White
