Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Richard Morse in Sydney, Australia. Pendleton acknowledges receipt of Morse’s last two letters. Pendleton hopes the death of Mr. Heldon will not be as disastrous as it now seems. Pendleton is forwarding Morse a letter he received from Mr. White along with his (Pendleton’s) reply to it. Pendleton is anxiously preparing for a trip West in the fall; Public meetings have been suppressed in the state of Pennsylvania due to a nation-wide influenza outbreak, and Pendleton is unsure what the state rules will be in Illinois where he is going.
