Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Richard Morse, 1918-03-19
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Richard Morse in Sydney, Australia. Pendleton has received the photographs and films taken by Mr. Gyllenhaal in Basutoland, and he has passed them along to Mr. Alden. It has been suggested that copies of the photographs be sold to support the Basutoland fund, but there is doubt about whether enough copies could be sold to make a profit. Pendleton is very encouraged by the missionary work being done by Gyllenhaal in Basutoland; With the assistance of Mr. Buss, Gyllenhaal plans to open a theological school for training ministers. Postscript, Pendleton notes that he has just learned that photograph reproductions can be ordered through the Book Room at an estimated price of about 5¢ with postage. Names mentioned: Mr. Alden, Mr. (Fred) Gyllenhaal, Mr. (W. M. ?) Buss, Rev. (James Frederick) Buss, Mr. Donald F. Rose
