Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Leonardos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pendleton has received Leonardos’ letters of Dec. 12th and Jan. 15th. He was pleased to learn that Leonardos’ financial situation has improved, and he hopes this improvement will continue. Pendleton was glad to receive Leonardos’ good report of the state of the Rio society as well as membership applications for Leonardos’ son, Olivero Henry, and Srta. Maria Manoela de Castro. They have just completed a series of ministers’ meetings in Bryn Athyn, and Pendleton hopes Leonardos will someday be able to attend these annual meetings, though he understands this would require a significant amount of travel for Leonardos.
