Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Leonardos, 1925-03-07
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Leonardos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pendleton sends his sympathies for Leonardos’ financial downturn. He writes, “While I have never had the opportunity of meeting you in person, nevertheless, I feel that I know you and count you among my friends. Certainly I have greatly appreciated the work you have so generously done for our beloved Church, and it is a grief to me that you should suffer for the ill conditions that afflict the financial world of which you are a part.” Feeling that there will be a better opportunity to visit in the future, Pendleton has indefinitely postponed his trip to Rio.
