Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich, 1935-10-02
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in St. Cloud, Seine et Oise, France. Pendleton reports that the last Consistory meeting was devoted to a preliminary discussion of “the Allard development.” As the Consistory members were unfamiliar with the subject, Iungerich’s letters are currently being passed amongst the members so that everyone may have a firsthand account of the situation. Pendleton writes that he appreciated Iungerich’s defense of his use of the word “ridiculous”, and he notes that it seems to have “gotten under the skin” of Theo Pitcairn and Mr. Pfeiffer. Names mentioned: Mr. (B) and Mrs. (S) Allard, Theodore (Pitcairn), Mr. (Ernst) Pfeiffer
