Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich, 1935-06-21
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in St. Cloud, Seine et Oise, France. Pendleton has received the most recent letters from Iungerich and his wife, but as the Consistory has not been in session due to the Assembly, Pendleton has been unable to share the news from Paris in the usual way. Pendleton believes this Assembly was the most successful yet, though he does not take credit for himself. Pendleton writes that his contributions to the Assembly were limited due to his advancing age: “When one has passed the seventy mark, a slowing up, despite good intentions, is inevitable.” Pendleton looks forward to his upcoming vacation in the mountains. Names mentioned: Florence (Kintner Iungerich)
