Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Johnstown, PA, USA. Pendleton thanks Iungerich for arranging to preach in Bryn Athyn on March 10th. Pendleton describes the fire which broke out in Bryn Athyn the previous Sunday: “Early Sunday morning the local school building was burnt to the ground. At one time it seemed impossible to save the central building, but fortunately the wind, though slight, was in the other direction. However, because of this the girls’ dormitory was endangered. All today is in utter confusion. Not a thing was saved from the local school. We must now make place for that school – perhaps part in the Cathedral rooms, and part in the Library basement.”
