Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Although Iungerich is resigning as Pastor of the Pittsburgh society, he has offered to continue serving in this roll after his vacation until a new Pastor is found. Pendleton has heard from several reliable sources that this will upset the society, and he requests that Iungerich not return to the pulpit after his vacation. Pendleton believes it is important for the society to be in a state of “mental equilibrium” when approaching the choice of a new pastor. Pendleton thanks Iungerich for his offer. Names mentioned: Mrs. (Viola Wolcott) Rennels, Bishop (N. D.) Pendleton
