Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich, 1933-03-08
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Likely referring to the recent Ministers’ Council meetings, at which Ernst Pfeiffer was present, Pendleton writes, “The situation was a difficult one. To say too little would have been a weakness, and too much would certainly have been a misfortune. Time always brings a regret, and the light of wisdom is most often seen after the event. However, I have no apology to make.” Pendleton informs Iungerich that his last letter made cheerful reading for the Consistory as usual.
