Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich, 1931-11-02
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Pendleton discusses Henry Heinrich; Heinrichs is discouraged with the situation in Denver and doubtful about its future. He is anxious for any opportunity to come into contact with other General Church societies. Pendleton hopes to be able to provide financial aid for Heinrichs to attend the mid-year meetings in Bryn Athyn. Theodore (Pitcairn) recently discovered a small sum of unallocated money which he has given to Pendleton to finance episcopal travel to the midyear meetings. In the interest of “theological cohesion” Pendleton will spend most of the money on Henry Boef, and he hopes to spend anything leftover on Heinrichs. If Heinrichs is able to attend, Iungerich can invite him to stop over and preach in Pittsburgh while Iungerich preaches in Bryn Athyn. Names mentioned: Henry Heinrichs, Theodore (Pitcairn), Henry Boef
