Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Pendleton received Iungerich’s letter of Feb. 10th, followed by Iungerich’s detailed account of the community building fire. This report was read aloud publicly at Friday super in Bryn Athyn. Pendleton presumes that the Pittsburgh society has now adjusted somewhat and that they are beginning to make new plans for future developments. One of the main concern was that insurance would not cover the fire as the new church building was under construction, but it now appears that the building was adequately covered. Pendleton sincerely hopes that Providence will allow all the injured firemen to recover. Pendleton asks Iungerich to relay his compliments to Alex (P. Lindsay), calling Lindsay “a tower of strength.”
