Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Pendleton believes new church people would be unwilling to continue using the present church building after the Mormons have taken possession of it. Pendleton reports that although Mrs. Pendleton would enjoy attending the laying of the cornerstone ceremony in Pittsburgh, but she must remain in Bryn Athyn to prepare for the Pendleton’s upcoming trip to Africa and to see Nancy off to camp. Pendleton agrees with Iungerich’s point that official robes will not be feasible for the cornerstone ceremony. Pendleton reports that in Bryn Athyn, it now appears they will move forward with their own new building project which they hope to have completed for the next Assembly.
