Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Eldred Edward Iungerich in Pittsburch, PA, USA. Pendleton writes that while he can appreciate Iungerich’s feeling of haste under the circumstances, he hopes Iungerich can understand that those who have been continuously involved in the events and discussions feel otherwise. Pendleton’s calendar for May and June is packed; He has had to ask Mr. Synnestvedt to oversee the Washington-Arbutus Assembly and Bishop DeCharms to oversee the New York Assembly. Pendleton will be in Kitchener the 24-26th of May and will travel from there to Toronto. Hugo (Odhner) has come down with pneumonia and will be unable to teach, preach, or do society work for a period of time. Pendleton will conduct Friday lectures on Church government until May 17th. Pendleton suggests Iungerich set a date for the laying of the cornerstone of the new church in Pittsburgh, and Pendleton will see if he can attend.
