Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fernand Hussenet, 1923-11-12
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fernand Hussenet in Saint Cloud, Seine et Oise, France. Slightly different version of the same letter in English attached (typed). Typed French translation attched; Translated by "E.E.I." (Eldred Iungerich?). Pendleton has learned that the General Convention has recently set up a New Church society in Paris. Pendleton hopes this is a good sign for the future of the New Church in France. He is concerned that Hussenet’s recent communication to La Nouvelle Jerusalem could be interpreted as hostile. The General Church has always asked for the freedom to minister freely in every area, and they ought to extend that same courtesy to other branches of the New Church.
