Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Heinrichs, 1927-09-03
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Heinrichs in Denver, CO, USA. Pendleton has received Heinrichs’ letter of August 29th. Pendleton hopes Heinrichs has received the letter which he sent to Denver in the hope that it would be forwarded to Heinrichs in Canada. Mr. (Fred) Waelchli advises that Heinrichs try traveling the other way around to Spokane on his next trip to the Northwest. Pendleton has found Heinrichs’ letters about his trip very interesting and believes the trip has been a good “developing experience” for Heinrichs, regardless of the external results. Concerning Denver, Pendleton sympathizes with Heinrichs’ difficulties and advises him that the goal should be “to wring success out of apparent failure.” In Bryn Athyn, Pendleton has just returned from a camping trip to the seashore with Phil (Philip Pendleton?).
