Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Heinrichs, 1927-03-05
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Henry Heinrichs in Denver, CO, USA. Pendleton was delayed from answering Heinrichs’ letter of Feb. 17th by a recent illness. Pendleton was touched by the difficulties described in Heinrichs’ letter, and he reminds Heinrich that “the internal work of instruction and leading is the primal need, without which apparent external growth in a Society would be of little real advantage.” Pendleton regrets that Heinrich was unable to be present at the February meetings in Bryn Athyn, and he hopes they can arrange for him to attend next year. Pendleton would like Heinrichs to make another trip to the Northwest in the coming summer.
