Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. John Headsten in Chicago, IL, USA. Pendleton has received Headsten’s letter of Jan 15th with enclosed membership application for “Grandma” Holms. Pendleton is interested in hearing more about Headsten’s experiences in Irving Park. Pendleton suggests Headsten contact Miss Ellen Sherman if he is ever near Sandoval, IL. Sherman was a teacher at the Academy in Bryn Athyn and now lives in Sandoval with her large family. Pendleton believes they would appreciate a visit from a New Church minister, especially as the mother of the family has recently died. Pendleton sends his kindest regards to Mrs. Headsten and Miss Eugenie. Bishop (W. F.) Pendleton and Mrs. Pendleton send Headsten their affectionate greetings.
