Pendleton apologizes that he will not be able to visit Arbutus on the date that Harris suggests; Pendleton’s time is filled with engagements until he arrives home in early November from his trip west. The Consistory has considered the matter, and they suggest that either they send a member of the Consistory to Arbutus to serve as the Bishop’s representative, or Pendleton himself can attend sometime in mid-December. Harris should write to Pendleton with his decision. Pendleton reports that the schools have opened in Bryn Athyn, and they are anticipating a good year although the student body is smaller than in previous years.
