Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in Toronto, Canada. Pendleton apologizes for not replying sooner; He is recovering from the grippe. Mrs. Duquesne’s membership application has been accepted. Pendleton is pleased that Karl (Alden)’s visit to the Toronto Society was appreciated. Pendleton writes that they “must keep the good fight for New Church education going” as he believes that the success of the Church depends on it. Pendleton notes what Gyllenhaal writes of his fifth trip to Montreal. Pendleton reports that the Academy school will soon open again after three weeks; Bryn Athyn has been hit with an “epidemic of measles and not a few cases of scarlet fever.”
