 Item
Identifier: RG.004.01

Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Viola W. Rennels, to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in Toronto, Canada. Rennels has received Gyllenhaal’s letter of Oct. 2nd. She apologizes that the two sermons she sent were not typed according to his qualifications for publication. She writes that they were typed according to the publication requirements of the New Church Life, and she describes these requirements in detail. Rennels hopes they might come to a compromise about the format of the sermons as she does not have the time to type sermons multiple times according to different qualifications. She apologizes for not including the music and prayers with the sermons she sent, and she encloses with this letter the order of service used on the Sundays when the sermons were preached which should provide Gyllenhaal with the needed information. Names mentioned: Mr. (Will) Caldwell
