Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal, 1925-07-06
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal. Pendleton acknowledges Gyllenhaal’s letter of May 22nd. Pendleton wishes he could be present at the upcoming British Assembly. Pendleton notes that Gyllenhaal’s last letter “very naturally reflected a state of depression” and he wishes it were possible for him to have a long, undisturbed talk with Gyllenhaal. Pendleton believes everything will turn out well in the end and that the Lord’s Providence was in everything that has happened. Pendleton advises Gyllenhaal to start building everything again as from the ground up in order to get the Colchester society back on its feet. Pendleton writes that there are several possible changes which may improve the situation soon, though he does not wish to say anything definite until arrangements are more certain. Names mentioned: Agnes (Pemberton Gyllenhaal), Mr. (R.J.) Tilson
