 Item
Identifier: RG.004.01

Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in London, England. Pendleton has received Gyllenhaal’s letter of March 9th. Pendleton thinks the proposed property distribution resolution is a good solution, and he hopes it will strengthen both the Burton Road and Colchester societies. After the financial downfall of Mr. Leonardos, Pendleton has indefinitely postponed his episcopal visit to the New Church people in Rio de Janeiro. George (DeCharms) will soon return to Bryn Athyn from Florida but will probably not be able to take up his duties right away due to his health. The Ellis Island authorities have demanded that College student Muriel (Gill) leave the US next in the next month; Pendleton reports that Mr. (Reginald) Brown will travel to NY to see if they can work it out for Muriel to stay another year. Names mentioned: Mr. Leonardos, George DeCharms, Muriel (Gill), Mr. (Reginald) Brown, Mr. (R. J.) Tilson
