Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in London, England. Pendleton received Gyllenhaal’s letter of April 6th after returning from his trip to Canada. He is glad to hear Mr. Bjorck will recover the use of his leg after the accident. Pendleton recommends Gyllenhaal take a trip to the sea for rest and relaxation, and in the meantime, he thinks Gyllenhaal should reduce his work to the minimum. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ridgway will travel to America from Durban for Doris (Ridgeway)’s graduation and probably also for the Glenview General Assembly. There will be a place in the Assembly program for Gyllenhaal to deliver an address; Pendleton recommends Gyllenhaal’s paper on the “Word and the New Testament.” Pendleton reports that he does not think any ministers will visit England in the summer, however Mr. Iungerich plans to travel to Rio de Janeiro with his daughter and mother. Names mentioned: Mr. (Albert) Bjorck, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ridgway, Doris (Ridgway), Mr. Acton, Mr. (Eldred) Iungerich
