Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in London, England. Pendleton has received Gyllenhaal’s letter of Oct. 17th with enclosures. Pendleton reports that Bryn Athyn was filled with disturbing rumors about the situation in England, but Mr. Bjork’s letter praises Gyllenhaal for his management of the difficulty. Pendleton suggests the Council of Priests in England discuss where best to place Bjorck; Pendleton thinks they should carry out the original plan unless it becomes clear that another arrangement would be more beneficial. Pendleton was pleased with Gyllenhaal’s letter to Mr. Anderson and was happy to hear that Gyllenhaal would be attending the next Assembly in June. Names mentioned: Mr. (Albert) Bjorck, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. (Agnes Pemberton) Gyllenhaal
