Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in London, England. Pendleton has read Gyllenhaal’s plan for the Assembly and requests that all pre-Assembly meetings and addresses be moved until after the Assembly as he will be traveling through France with Raymond Pitcairn up until the Assembly. Pendleton asks that Gyllenhaal arrange accommodations for Pendleton and his party in London, perhaps with the Palace Regent’s Hotel or the Strand Palace. Pendleton has asked Gyllenhaal and Tilson to assist him in the administration of Holy Supper, and he considers asking Mr. Ottley and Mr. Bjorck to help with the morning service. Pendleton writes that Liturgies are in high demand in Bryn Athyn, but Mr. Alden will write to Gyllenhaal soon about the possibility of loaning them 50 copies. Names mentioned: Raymond Pitcairn, Ora (Pendleton), Theodore (Pitcairn), Creda and Winfrey Glenn, Mr. (R. J.) Tilson, Mr. (Albert) Bjorck, Mr. Ottley, Mr. Alden
