Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in London, England. Pendleton has received Gyllenhaal’s letter of August 26th. Pendleton discusses matters related to Gyllenhaal’s transfer to England: He is pleased with Gyllenhaal’s proposal to preach at both Peckham Rye and Colchester every Sunday, and he discusses Gyllenhaal’s new salary. Pendleton has heard from Mr. Acton of the recent successful assembly meetings in Colchester, and he thinks this bodes well for the work of the General Church in England. Pendleton has just returned to Bryn Athyn with his family after a month in the Adirondacks.
