Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Fred E. Gyllenhaal in Durban, Natal, South Africa. F. Pendleton acknowledges Gyllenhaal’s letter to the Bishop of Jan. 23rd. The Bishop has decided to accompany Theodore (Pitcairn) on his trip to several New Church societies around the world; They will set sail for South Africa from England shortly. Mr. Alden has confirmed that the funds which Gyllenhaal requested have been sent; F. Pendleton apologizes for the delay. She has sent the Bishop a book on Woodrow Wilson (“Woodrow Wilson. An Interpretation” by Maurice Low) which she hopes Gyllenhaal will get a chance to read as well. F. Pendleton is looking forward to seeing Gyllenhaal and his wife in Bryn Athyn for the Assembly in October. She hopes Kenneth Ridgway will be able to come study or at least visit Bryn Athyn.
