Pendleton has received Gyllenhaal’s report of June 2nd from Australia and letter of June 20th from Bombay, India. He thinks one of Gyllenhaal’s letters may have been lost in the mail, and he asks Gyllenhaal to rewrite the letter if this is the case. Pendleton is very eager to hear more about Gyllenhaal’s experiences in Bombay as well as the results of his talk with Mr. Bhatt.
