Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Willis L. Gladish in Chicago, IL, USA. Pendleton writes that he will be able to meet with the Sharon Church congregation the night of Oct. 12th. Pendleton has received a letter from Morley Rich applying for financial help to enter Theological School. The Board of Directors of the Academy usually requires evidence of leadership ability before granting assistance, and Pendleton does not feel that Morley’s college record demonstrates that he is ready to enter Theological School. In addition, the Theological School will not have a first-year class this year. Pendleton is leaving for Pittsburgh shortly and looks forward to seeing Gladish soon.
