Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Willis L. Gladish in Chicago, IL, USA. Pendleton has received Gladish’s last letter. Pendleton has been disappointed by Gladish’s separation from the active work of the ministry over the past several years. Now that Gladish has decided to remain out of ministerial work permanently, Pendleton would like him to know that he tried multiple times in the past to find a position for Gladish in the ministry, but conditions were never favorable. Pendleton reports that they are putting together an International Council of the European representatives of the Priesthood in June. The goal of this Council is to create an increased sense of unity and a renewed commitment to Academy ideals. Along with Gladish, Pendleton also hopes that one of Gladish’s sons will decide to enter the ministry. Names mentioned: Mrs. Gladish
