Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Viola W. Rennels, to Rev. Alan Gill in Kitchener, ON, Canada. Rennels informs Gill that Miss Elma L. Spence has been received as a member of the General Church and is now eligible for membership in the Kitchener society. Rennels reports that DeCharms Hall is “a very pathetic sight” after the fire, and that they are lucky the other school buildings were saved, as they easily could have been burned as well. The elementary school has resumed classes after missing only two days of school; The kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades housed in the Choir Hall, the 1st and 2nd grades are in the Council Hall, and the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are in the Theological School rooms.
