Pendleton has told Mr. Morse that the Kitchener Society will unlikely be willing to give her up, but Pendleton asks that Gill consider the matter. Mr. Morse is also considering Miss (Jennie) Gaskill, who may be willing to go to Australia if she is unable to find a position in the US, which Pendleton thinks will likely be the case.
