Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Alan Gill, 1929-04-22
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Alan Gill in Kitchener, ON, Canada. Pendleton is pleased with the amount of money the Kitchener society was able to raise to support a second teacher in their school. He will call a meeting of the Executive Committee to consider Gill’s application for the rest of the money. If the Toronto Society is unable to cooperate with the Kitchener Society to hold a District Assembly, Pendleton suggests they hold a Local Assembly in Kitchener as they did during the war years. Pendleton will speak to Bishop DeCharms about the possibility of visiting Kitchener in connection with the Sons of the Academy meeting in Toronto. Pendleton writes that it would not be out of order to send a representative of the Bishop to officiate the Assembly, but it would be better if either he or Bishop DeCharms could attend.
