Letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary to Rev. Alan Gill, 1926-07-17
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Alan Gill in College Point, LI, NY, USA. F. Pendleton thanks Gill for his letter and the record cards. F. Pendleton comments on the proper way to fill out cards so as to include all the important information. She writes that Mr. Baeckstrom has mentioned the Larsens as friends of the Welanders, and she believes they will be faithful members of Gill’s society, as Swedes usually are. F. Pendleton has not heard from Mrs. Lussi, but this is not unusual; She will often write long personal letters and then there will be no communication from her for months. F. Pendleton received a letter form Muriel (Gill), written on the boat as she (Muriel) sailed from the US. F. Pendleton will miss her very much and hopes to see her again before too long. Names mentioned: Mrs. Ingrid Larsen, Mr. M Larsen, Mr. Baeckstrom, the Welanders, Mrs. Marie Lussi, Muriel (Gill), Dorothy (Gill)
