Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Alan Gill, 1926-05-14
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Alan Gill in Brooklyn, NY, USA. Pendleton was glad to hear that Gill considers the New York Assembly a success. Pendleton acknowledges that there were difficulties involved, especially because many of the society members live far from the society’s place of worship. Pendleton writes that it was a pleasure to baptize Gill’s daughter, and he encloses money which he requests Gill use to open a bank account for her. Pendleton notes that in the future, if he (Pendleton) is ever called again to perform a similar ceremony, it is not necessary for Gill to make a financial offering.
