Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gaston J. Fercken in Lausanne, Switzerland. Pendleton has sent Fercken several letters recommending a move to Geneva, but he has not heard back as to whether this was done. Pendleton writes that the Church is disappointed in Fercken’s lack of success in Lausanne and has guaranteed to fund Fercken’s work in Geneva for the next six months only. Funding will then be reevaluated based on the results of Fercken’s work. Raymond Pitcairn will no longer directly support Fercken’s work; The money will instead be paid into the Extension Fund. Pendleton apologizes for being harsh but writes that the Church cannot afford to give funding without results.
