Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gaston J. Fercken in Lausanne, Switzerland. Pendleton has received Fercken’s letters of Nov. 24th and Dec. 6th. Pendleton is glad to hear that Mr. Pierre de Chazal has returned with a more friendly disposition towards Fercken and that Fercken’s lectures in Geneva have been so well received. Pendleton has not heard anything from Raymond Pitcairn regarding Fercken’s appeal for his help. Pendleton has received a letter from Mlle. Jeanmonod expressing her sympathy for Fercken’s work. Pendleton hopes the war will soon be over.
