Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Charles E. Doering, 1921-03-17
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Charles E. Doering in St. Petersburg, FL, USA. Pendleton has received Doering’s letter of March 14th. Pendleton is glad to hear of Doering’s steady improvement and urges him not to feel any pressure to come back to school before he is ready as this could worsen his condition. The Academy has been able to manage without him by holding only morning classes, and Pendleton reports that this seems to be going quite well. Pendleton has written to Celia advising her to accept a teaching position in Pittsburgh as the Bryn Athyn elementary school currently does not have any openings. Margaret Bostock has been approached about taking over Olive’s faculty position, but nothing has been decided yet. Names mentioned: the Nelsons, Charlie Pendleton, Celia (Bellinger?), Olive (Bostock? Bellinger?), Margaret Bostock, Mrs. Doering
