Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Charles E. Doering in Dunfield, NJ, USA. Pendleton writes that they have decided to admit Karl Fuller to the Academy as a working-scholarship pupil. He can be taken off the list of working-scholarship pupils later if it turns out not to be necessary. Pendleton hopes they can arrange to have the Arthur Burnham children come; Mr. Bostock had just suggested a plan by which they could make room for two more pupils. While Pendleton agrees that Mr. Burnham’s promise to pay is probably not worth much, Pendleton has received a good impression of the children from his daughter Ora (Pendleton).
