Pendleton has received Deltenre’s letter of Oct. 3rd and notes with interest Deltenre’s willingness to go wherever he is sent by the General Church. He also notes the difficulties Deltenre anticipates if assigned to England. Pendleton writes that they would not send Deltenre to England if it would interfere with the editing and publishing of “La Nouvelle Jerusalem”. Pendleton also discusses the financial considerations which would impact both Mr. (Fred) Gyllenhaal and Deltenre. Pendleton would like Deltenre to consider the matter and make the decision for himself.
