Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Deltenre, 1922-10-10
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Deltenre in Brussels, Belgium. Pendleton received Deltenre’s letter of Sept. 15th and passed it along to Mr. Hyatt to be read at a recent meeting of the Executive Committee. Pendleton believes the magazine “la Revue” is very useful and should not be discontinued. Pendleton discusses the Mauritius Society; He does not think they will ask the General Church for a pastor again after the damage caused by Mr. Fercken in Mauritius and Switzerland. Pendleton advises against visiting M. de Geymuller uninvited, but he thinks it would be acceptable for Deltenre to open a correspondence with him. Pendleton will soon depart for his western trip which will last several weeks. He sends greetings to Mrs. Deltenre, Miss Claire, Miss Marie Louise, and Miss Marie-Emmanuel.
