Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Deltenre, 1921-12-27
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Deltenre in Brussels, Belgium. Pendleton has received Deltenre’s letter of Nov. 14th. Pendleton is looking forward to the upcoming ministers’ meetings, which will be held in February instead of June this year. Pendleton was sorry to hear that Deltenre’s daughter, Marie-Louise, has been sick with the flu. Pendleton trusts that Deltenre made the right choice as to the hall and the storage of furniture; He hopes that a better place will be found soon. Pendleton thinks Mr. Alden will have communicated with Deltenre by now about Deltenre’s plans for a magazine called the “Revue”. Pendleton received the membership application for M. Joseph de San, along with news of his engagement to Deltenre’s other daughter, Claire; Pendleton congratulates Deltenre and Mrs. Deltenre. Pendleton discusses the book “The Wedding Garment” and whether a French translation of it would be a useful missionary tool.
