Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Llewellyn W. T. David, 1917-09-21
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Llewellyn W. T. David in Denver, CO, USA. Pendleton acknowledges David’s letter of Sept. 12th. Pendleton informs David that his father (Joseph David) has been employed to undertake missionary work in and around Denver. David has invited Pendleton to visit the Denver Society, but Pendleton is unsure if this is the best time to visit; He does not wish to request the extra funds from the General Church during war time, and he thinks it may be better to wait until after David and his father have begun their missionary efforts anyway. Pendleton requests David’s advice on how to proceed. Pendleton also suggests that there are other ways of building solidarity between the Denver Society and the rest of the Church than visits from the Bishop.
