Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Llewellyn W. T. David, 1915-06-30
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Llewellyn W. T. David in Denver, CO, USA. Pendleton has received David’s interesting report of his work in Denver; Pendleton is encouraged that there seems to be a growing friendship between the two societies there. At this point in the summer, it would be hard to assemble the Extension Committee, and Pendleton does not think they would approve the funds for David’s proposed trip to the coast anyway, as the budget has already been drawn up. Pendleton recommends David propose the trip again another year. Pendleton informs David that the Bishop, W.F. Pendleton, has found it necessary to step down, and that he (N.D. Pendleton) will fill in as the interim Bishop.
