Letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary to Rev. Emil R. Cronlund, 1919-02-17
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Emil R. Cronlund in Toronto, Canada. The Bishop has sailed for England and will therefore need to postpone his visit to Toronto. He regrets the postponement but finds it necessary to take this opportunity to visit Europe, and if possible, South Africa and Australia. The Bishop Emeritus (W.F. Pendleton) will take the Bishop’s place in the U.S. but will not be undertaking any episcopal trips. The next General Assembly will be held in Bryn Athyn in October when the Cathedral will be ready for dedication. It will therefore be less necessary to hold local assemblies this year. F. Pendleton is also writing a similar letter to Hugo Odhner to keep him informed.
